Stay calm, protect immediate safety, listen well, follow reporting requirements, and involve the appropriate adults or professional supports.
Document, report, connect, review what happened, and improve the next activity, meeting, or leader routine.
Mental-health ABCs
The program keeps safety and mental-health awareness practical for volunteer leaders. It can support conference presentations, leader or unit training, safety and mental-health awareness, reporting and prevention education, and practical resources that help adults respond with care and clarity.

Distinct from clinical and executive work
This advocacy work is separate from Dr. Pemberton's clinical-practice consultation and executive leadership offerings. It is designed to support prevention, awareness, reporting, and practical leader response; it is not direct clinical treatment, legal advice, or an official Scouting America or Lincoln Heritage Council program.
